Sara Roy

Sara Roy was a member of the group “Macedònia” during her youth, and in 2021 she released her debut album, “(A)MAR”. In 2024, she released her second album, “ALTER EGO” (Halley Records). This autumn, Sara Roy embarks on a new chapter with her upcoming album, “Per si s’acaba el món”, a work born from a period in her life marked by frustration, loss, a feeling of stagnation and
a sense of helplessness in the face of what is happening in the world.

It stems from a moment of personal and creative disorientation, also brought on by the pressure to fit into current musical trends and the noise of the industry. Faced with this disconnection, the new project becomes a return to her roots, reclaiming a more genuine, stripped-back and organic approach to music, free from external expectations. Sara Roy moves away from electronic pop towards a warmer and more intimate sound, where acoustic guitars, raw sounds, delicate arrangements and her voice take centre stage.

The new album moves between singer-songwriter pop and contemporary folk, with a modern perspective that remains deeply rooted in
the essence of the artist. An honest and emotional work that seeks to connect with the audience through the simplicity, intimacy and truthfulness of its songs.
