Raquel Lúa

Raquel Lúa draws from fado, flamenco, and the singer-songwriter tradition, with lyrics rich in poetry and depth that place her within Mediterranean music and contemporary folk.

Her latest album, Peinar Raíces, continues to explore the roots-based music that has defined her previous work , but does so from a rawer and more essential place. It is a record with delicate, precise, and austere arrangements and production, conceived so that the music sounds purer and more honest in live performance.

The project’s pre-release shows took place at the Mercat de Música Viva de Vic and at the Fira B! in Mallorca, and the official presentation was held at the emblematic El Molino in Barcelona, with a sold-out audience. The tour has visited and will continue to visit festivals such as Recondit, Petits Camaleons, Festival MUD, Es Claustre, and Sierra Sonora, as well as a wide range of festivals, concert series, theatres, and auditoriums across Catalonia and the rest of Spain.

Throughout 2026, Raquel Lúa continues the Peinar Raíces, a show with which she has already performed more than 40 concerts in Catalonia, the rest of Spain, Italy, Germany, Colombia, and Panama.

The show has been recommended by programa.cat in Catalonia and by Red Escena at a national level.
