Raquel Lúa

Raquel Lúa draws inspiration from fado, flamenco and singer-songwriter music, with lyrics full of poetry and depth that place her within
mediterranean and folk music. Her latest album, Peinar Raíces, continues to explore the roots music that has characterised her previous work, but it is a rawer record, with delicate, precise and understated arrangements and production that allow it to sound purer and more
directe.

She gave preview performances at the Mercat de Música Viva de Vic and the Fira B! in Mallorca. The official presentation took place at Barcelona’s iconic El Molino (sold out). She has performed at the Recóndito Festival, Pequeños Camaleones, Festival MUD, Es Claustre in Menorca, Sierra Sonora, Noches al Calustre in Castelló, Encaja2 in Gijón, as well as at various festivals, concert series, theatres and auditoriums across Catalonia, Spain, Europe and
two tours in Latin America. In 2026, she is wrapping up the Peinar Raíces tour, with which she will have played nearly 80 concerts. The tour has been selected as a recommended show by Programa.cat in Catalonia and by Redescena across Spain.

In 2027, she will present her new show, Agua Adentro, featuring a new string ensemble format accompanied by percussion.
